| On Sunday, July 6, the ASHBA Board of Directors held a regularly scheduled board meeting in Lexington to discuss a number of topics important to our organization and the integrity of the breed. These incredibly productive discussions allowed the Board to arrive at important decisions around governance, finances and accounting, organizational and show policies, and equine welfare, among others. |

| The Bill Wise Sweepstakes Program, jointly with the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association (ASHBA), announces the transition of the Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes Program from ASHBA. This decision fulfills a personal request from the late Bill Wise, who was the driving force behind establishing the Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes Program nearly 50 years ago. |
